When I was five, my best friend Luca moved to Italy. I was sad, but only until we began to go visit.
Summers in Florence meant playing in the piazzas while our parents sipped espresso in the morning and spritzes in the afternoon. Eventually, Luca and I joined in — and those bright, bold flavors became part of my favorite memories.
Luca and I don’t see each other as often anymore, but those rituals stayed with me. So I brought them together. Esprizio is an ode to the carefree moments we share with our favorite people.
